Introduction
Long ago, on the vast continent of Ovoria, kingdoms rose and fell like waves in the ocean. Great armies marched across golden plains, castles touched the clouds, and kings fought endless wars for power.
At the center of the continent stood the mighty capital city of Panstone. Inside its towering palace rested the Shell Throne, a seat of power forged from ancient iron and surrounded by legends older than any kingdom.
Every ruler dreamed of sitting on that throne.
But none of them knew the truth.
Long before humans built their kingdoms, the world belonged to the First Chickens, enormous dragon-like creatures that ruled the skies. They were not simple beasts—they were guardians of life itself. From their sacred nests came magical eggs that carried the power to create warmth, life, and balance in the world.
When humans discovered this power, greed took over.
Kings hunted the great Chickens and stole their eggs, using their magic to build empires. Cities grew, armies became stronger, and the humans believed they had conquered the world.
But before the last of the ancient creatures disappeared, one prophecy was spoken:
“When the kingdoms drown in their own greed, the final egg will awaken. From its shell will rise the ruler who will decide the fate of the world.”
For centuries the prophecy was forgotten.
Wars continued. Kings betrayed each other. Entire kingdoms vanished in fire and blood.
Then one winter night, in a quiet village near the ruins of an ancient kingdom, a young orphan named Eryk was digging through the snow looking for firewood.
Eryk had no family, no land, and no future. The villagers barely noticed him. He survived by working small jobs and sleeping in abandoned barns.
But that night, something strange happened.
As Eryk walked through the frozen forest, he saw a faint golden glow beneath the roots of a massive tree. Curious, he began digging through the ice and dirt.
What he uncovered was not treasure, not gold, not a weapon.
It was an egg.
But this was no ordinary egg.
Its shell shimmered like molten gold, and faint heat radiated from it even in the freezing wind. Strange symbols moved slowly across its surface like living light.
The moment Eryk touched it, the egg pulsed with warmth.
The ground trembled.
A crack appeared across the shell.
Suddenly the forest filled with a strange sound—like distant thunder mixed with the beating of enormous wings.
The egg did not break completely, but something awakened inside it.
From that moment forward, Eryk’s life changed forever…
